Summer Stages furthers its partnership with the ICA/Boston

Artistic Directors Richard Colton and Amy Spencer have announced Co Lab: Process + Performance, an adventurous new collaboration between Summer Stages and the Institute of Contemporary Art/Boston (ICA) featuring some of America’s best artists coming together in dynamic collaborations between the visual arts, poetry and dance. During their Co Lab residencies at the ICA/Boston, acclaimed poet Anne Carson and choreographer Rashaun Mitchell (July 28), followed by renowned visual artist Jenny Holzer and dance maker Miguel Gutierrez (July 20), will present new works and share insights about their creative process. "Great artists don't ask for mirrors of themselves when they collaborate! So, I'm thrilled at the thought of these artists working together,” said Colton. “Even if our audience already knows their individual work, I'm expecting they will experience something excitingly new."
